Due to difficult economic situations (rouble devaluation and sliding disposable incomes in Russia) Transaero accumulated ca $4 billion of debt. Turbulent times at management level. Several takeover deals collapsed. Ceased ops when Russian CAA revoked AOC as of Oct 26th 2015. 16/Nov/15

Rossiya willing to employ ca 3000 ex Transaero staff at its newly created Moscow subsidiary. Aeroflot has begun interviewing nearly 1000 Transaero staff. 16/Nov/15
