Employment Situation For Pilots

  Current Situation:  
New CBA to be negotiated in 2025. Expectation within the pilot community is an adjustment due to the TUIfly Nordic CBA having significantly lower terms and conditions than other TUI airlines. Rumors have it the threat is again that management will close down the company and lay off all pilots if they demand increase T&C in line with competitors. Pilots are frustrated and exhausted and people are waiting in line up to 2 years to get part time work just to get family life to work. 7/Mar/25
   
  Outlook:  
TUIfly Nordic has been shrinking in fleet size since 2012 and there is no indication of a reversion of this. Time to command now 20+ years and salary for FO's capped at year 9 and FC's at year 20. 7/Mar/25
