Employment Situation For Pilots

  Current Situation:  
Management is pushing the internal Wet lease model Wings Pattern (20/10 paid in PRG) to operate non EWL bases in Germany (HAJ, DUS, NUE). New FOs hired mostly according this model. For internal FOs ready for the upgrade the likelihood is low of keeping their normal base. Management tries to push them in the Wings Pattern model PRG 9/May/24
   
  Outlook:  
EWL becomes more and more an internal wet lease company for the Eurowings group. New bases like HAJ are opened, but without staffing them (crews are in layovers/hotels). EWL even operates four aircraft in DUS, the main base from Eurowings Germany GmbH 9/May/24
